Protein Rice Krispie Treats
A pre-workout favorite. Fast-digesting carbs and a solid hit of protein to fuel intense training sessions.
Ingredients
- 4 cups crispy rice cereal
- 2 scoops vanilla whey protein
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
Instructions
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt peanut butter and honey together (about 45 seconds).
- Stir the protein powder into the liquid mixture until smooth.
- Fold in the crispy rice cereal until evenly coated.
- Press mixture firmly into a lined 8x8 baking dish.
- Refrigerate for 1 hour before cutting into 8 squares.
