Soya Keema with Peas
Hydrated soy granules browned in keema masala with sweet green peas — the vegetarian stand-in for chicken keema that dominates Indian budget-fitness meal plans. High-protein at only 260 calories, it's a fat-loss dinner that eats like comfort food.
Ingredients
- 50g dry soya granules
- 1/2 cup green peas
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 2 tsp keema masala
- 2 tsp oil
Instructions
- Soak the soya granules in hot water, then squeeze dry.
- Brown the onion in oil, then add ginger-garlic paste and tomatoes.
- Cook the masala down, then add granules and keema masala.
- Simmer 15 minutes, adding the peas for the final 5.
- Serve garnished with coriander.
