Prices checked on September 27, 2026 and may change — always confirm current numbers on Trainerize's own pricing page before you buy. This post is for coaches weighing Trainerize against other coaching software: what each plan costs, what it includes, where the add-ons sit, and what to check before you commit — including how UltraFit360 handles the same needs where that's a useful comparison.
Trainerize's structure includes a free single-client tier and three paid tiers above it, with the two upper tiers scaling by client count rather than charging one flat fee. That means your bill can change every time you cross a client-count threshold, so it's worth knowing exactly where those thresholds sit before you build pricing assumptions into your business plan.
Below: what each plan includes, where the paid add-ons sit, where Trainerize is genuinely strong, and a checklist for evaluating any alternative — including Trainerize vs Everfit and other Trainerize alternatives.
Trainerize plans at a glance
| Plan | Price | Client limit | Key inclusions |
|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | $0/month | 1 coaching client | Mobile app (iOS/Android), workout programs, basic messaging, habit coaching |
| Grow | $9/month (monthly); ~$8.10/month billed annually | 2 coaching clients | AI Workout Builder, custom programs, meal/macro tracking, Trainerize.me profile, wearable integrations |
| Pro | From $23/month (5 clients) scaling to $135/month (50 clients) | 5–200 clients (tiered) | Custom exercise videos, welcome emails, consultation forms, advanced messaging, challenges, leaderboards |
| Studio Plus | From $248/month (500 clients); custom pricing above 1000 clients | 500–1000+ clients | Group video calls, custom recipes, referral links, full API access, dedicated account manager (1000+ tier) |
What's included, plan by plan
Basic — $0/month
Basic is a single-client plan: the mobile app for iOS and Android, workout programs, basic messaging, and habit coaching. There's no AI Workout Builder and no meal or macro tracking at this tier — those start at Grow.
Grow — $9/month
Grow covers up to two coaching clients and adds the AI Workout Builder, custom programs, meal and macro tracking, a Trainerize.me public profile, and wearable integrations. Billed annually, Grow works out to roughly $8.10/month instead of $9/month billed monthly.
Pro — from $23/month
Pro starts at $23/month for 5 clients and scales up to $135/month at 50 clients. It adds custom exercise videos, welcome emails, consultation forms, advanced messaging, challenges and leaderboards. Because Pro is client-count tiered, the exact price you pay depends on where your roster sits inside that 5–200 client range.
Studio Plus — from $248/month
Studio Plus starts at $248/month for 500 clients, with custom pricing above 1,000. It adds group video calls, custom recipes, referral links, full API access, and a dedicated account manager once you cross the 1,000-client tier. This is a studio or multi-location tier — its entry price is sized for a 500-client roster, well above most solo coaching businesses.
How the tiered pricing scales in practice
Because Pro and Studio Plus scale with client count, it helps to think in cost-per-client terms rather than the headline monthly number. At the low end of Pro (5 clients for $23/month) the per-client cost is higher than at the high end (50 clients for $135/month), where the same fee is spread across more clients. Coaches expecting to grow across a tier boundary should factor that curve into their own pricing model.
Add-ons
Beyond the four core plans, Trainerize lists three add-ons separately on its pricing page. None are bundled into a base plan's price.
- Stripe Payments — $10/month, for processing client payments inside the app.
- Custom-branded app — $169 one-time, available from the Pro tier. Puts your own name and logo on the client-facing app instead of Trainerize's branding.
- Advanced Nutrition — $20–$45/month, adds a smart meal planner and 2,400+ recipes on top of the meal/macro tracking already included in Grow and above.
- Payments: UltraFit360 has no client payments or billing feature — coaches keep using a separate invoicing tool.
- Branded app: UltraFit360 has no custom-branded app option; clients use the UltraFit360 client app.
- Nutrition: in place of Advanced Nutrition, UltraFit360 includes an AI Meal Planner (calories, macros, meal split, diet type, cuisine, allergies, ingredients to use or avoid) plus PDF meal-plan upload and conversion.
Trainerize's page doesn't say whether Basic includes nutrition tracking — meal/macro tracking is attributed to Grow and up, though Basic does include habit coaching.
Who each plan suits
- Basic suits someone testing the software with a single client before committing to a paid tier.
- Grow suits a coach with one or two clients who wants AI-assisted programming and nutrition tracking without the cost of Pro.
- Pro suits an established solo coach or growing roster within its 5–200 client range who needs consultation forms, advanced messaging and challenges — though our check only recorded exact pricing up to 50 clients within that range.
- Studio Plus suits a studio or larger operation with hundreds of clients that needs group video, an API, and dedicated support.
A note on billing periods
Trainerize's published figures show monthly pricing as the default, with annual billing working out to roughly a 10% saving across the paid tiers. If you're comparing Trainerize's cost against another platform, make sure you're comparing the same billing period on both sides.
Where Trainerize is stronger
This isn't a one-sided comparison. Trainerize is stronger in a few places UltraFit360 doesn't match:
- Client payments. Trainerize's Stripe Payments add-on lets you invoice and collect from clients inside the app. UltraFit360 has no equivalent — you'll keep using a separate tool.
- Custom branding. Trainerize offers a custom-branded client app from the Pro tier. UltraFit360 doesn't offer a branded app at all.
- Free entry point. Trainerize's Basic plan lets a coach with a single client try the software with no cost.
- Scale features. Studio Plus's group video calls and full API access are built for large studio operations (the dedicated account manager applies at the 1,000+ client tier) in a way UltraFit360's team features don't currently match.
If any of these matter more to your business than what UltraFit360 covers below, Trainerize (or another platform with the same feature) is the better fit.
What to look for in an alternative
Pricing tables tell you what a plan costs; they don't tell you how it feels to run your business day to day. Here's what actually matters when comparing options.
- Client app quality — does the client-facing app feel like a real product, with workout logging, an AI coach for everyday questions, and Apple Health or Health Connect sync, or is it limited to basic logging?
- Check-ins — can you build a structured check-in questionnaire and review answers, progress photos and body metrics in one place, or does that require a separate form tool cross-referenced manually with your programming software?
- Nutrition — is meal planning included, gated behind an add-on, or absent entirely? Confirm whether macro tracking and a meal planner ship with the plan you're pricing out, or whether — as with Trainerize's Advanced Nutrition add-on — it's an extra monthly cost.
- Lead capture and booking — does the platform give you a lead page and pipeline for prospects, plus a booking calendar for consultation calls, or do you need a separate scheduling tool and a way to manually track your pipeline?
- Team support — if you plan to bring on other coaches, check whether team management is included at your tier or priced as a per-seat add-on, and whether clients can be reassigned between coaches without losing their history.
- Client data when coaching ends — ask what happens to a client's workout history once they leave your roster. On UltraFit360's client app, the client keeps their history and the app continues on with the AI coach.

Frequently asked questions
Is Trainerize's free Basic plan enough to run a coaching business?
Basic covers one coaching client, so it works as a way to try the software but not to run a business. As soon as you take on a second client you need the Grow plan, and the AI Workout Builder, meal and macro tracking, and wearable integrations are gated behind Grow and above, not included in Basic.
Does Trainerize let you process client payments?
Yes, through the Stripe Payments add-on at $10/month. It is not bundled into any base plan, so budget for it separately if you invoice clients inside the app rather than through a separate system.
What does a custom-branded Trainerize app cost?
A custom-branded app is a $169 one-time add-on. The add-on is listed for the Pro tier.
How does Trainerize's pricing scale?
Pro covers up to 200 clients. Our check recorded Pro prices from $23/month (5 clients) to $135/month (50 clients); confirm the price for larger rosters on Trainerize's pricing page. Studio Plus starts at $248/month for 500 clients and moves to custom pricing above 1,000. Coaches who expect to cross a tier boundary should check with Trainerize for the exact price at their client count.
Does UltraFit360 process client payments the way Trainerize does?
No. UltraFit360 doesn't have a built-in client payments or billing feature, with or without an add-on, so you'd keep using a separate invoicing or payment tool alongside it — the same way you would if you skipped Trainerize's Stripe Payments add-on.
